iPhone 5 Larger Screen Snap Shots Seen: Could This Be It?

Apple’s iPhone 5 has been the hot topic over the last few weeks, with rumors surrounding its possible release and more recently concerns for its antenna capabilities. With Apple seeming under scrutiny over the signal faults plaguing its iPhone 4, including Verizon’s supposed redesigned model, Apple really needs the 5th gen to amaze the crowds.

So what better way to get the masses champing at the bit, than a snap shot showing off the 5th generation’s front panel. In the picture sourced by 9.5 Mac via a Chinese contact, you can see that the iPhone 5’s display screen could be a match for all the big screen Android devices currently on sale.

Mashable confirm that we are all expecting to see various additions to the iPhone 5 and if the pictures here are to be believed, the requested larger screen could be granted. As you can see from the image below the bezel has been greatly reduced to produce a display of around 4-inches and still contains the home button that has made the iPhone universally recognizable. It would allow the 5 to compete against the likes of HTC and Samsung with their large profile touchscreens.

Other features set to find their way on to the device include, integrated SIM card, upgraded processors and a new Gobi WWAN chip.

It seems like the wait for iPhone 5 pictures has taken a lifetime, but as we near the devices official release we are just around the corner from seeing if all our dreams have been answered.

Tell us if you think that with a larger display the iPhone will take over the smartphone market?
