Samsung Captivate Froyo 2.2 Live – HTC Aria Updates Tomorrow

Yesterday we reported that the Samsung Captivate will be getting the Android 2.2 Froyo update from TODAY. This is great news as it means that the Samsung mobile phones are finally getting the updates that everyone has been waiting for!

For those of you who read our previous article detailing that the update was on its way, well the wait is now over and the update is readily available for you to get your hands on! As AT&T promised yesterday, they posted an update on their Facebook profile directing users towards this link.

If you watched the video at the bottom of yesterday’s article it saw Senior Project Manager Dante Martin answering questions. One of the questions was around the HTC Aria and when it would be getting the Froyo update, he actually responded saying that he has the device running on Android 2.2 in his pocket!

Well following that interview, AT&T posted an update on their Facebook page to inform the world that the Aria will be getting the Android 2.2 Froyo update from tomorrow. The same as yesterday check back with us tomorrow to find links to the update.

Have you had any problems with the Froyo update on the Captivate? Are you looking forward to the HTC Aria getting Android 2.2? Let us know in the comments section below.

let me help you. this is on windows xp. with firewall disabled. i did not disable antivirus. that is ok. now i assume you installed keys mini. you now notoce its not getting connected to phone. you need to understand the process. let me explain it here.
with phone(power on) in USB debugging mode connect USB wire to laptop. it will install drivers on laptop.
this is where phone sends drivers to laptop to talk.once complete remove USB..
next step will be let phone download drivers from laptop. Inorder to do this, switch off the phone. hold both volume keys down for 5 sec & quickly insert USB cable with computer. your phone will start to show downloading..( man with showel)…. this means computer is sending drivers to phone to talk to….wait for 10 min approx..Remove USB cable . Remove back cover & then battery. Put the battery back in and then battery cover. Restart the phone and laptop as well.
Now setup phone in Ask-on connection. Connect to laptop. Now keys mini should tlak to your phone.keys mini will guide you now to flash Froyo.
