Can Facebook & Twitter Be Used To Save You Money?

When you think about Facebook and Twitter, the first things you might recall are keeping in contact with friends and family, sharing photographs between you and your mates and connecting with the people you want to.

What you might not think about is how these social networking giants can be used to save you money. Over at the telegraph.co.uk their author Kara Gammell has added an article talking about some brands and companies that use social networking as a platform to give you offers.

Many of the companies involve vouchers and coupons such as MyVoucherCodes; this is a website that claims to offer more than 2,000 online stores which can save you money on eating out, different activities and buying clothes. You can check them out and follow them on Twitter but also ‘Like’ them on Facebook to see their offers.

Another company that partakes in such social media usage is brandalleyUK, using them can save you up to 70% off your favorite designer labels but also has savings for homeware products. You can follow them on Twitter and check them out on Facebook.

One other thing to remember is that not every site advertising great offers actually has one for you. Some of them are fraudulent sites trying to squeeze the pennies out of you by enticing you in with your favorite products. One way to look at it is with an old saying, if it looks too good to be true then it probably is. You can keep up with the latest scams by heading over to actionfrauduk’s Twitter page and following them and also keeping up with their Facebook page.
