Apple iPhone 5: How It May Look With A 4-inch Display

When it comes to speculation about the iPhone 5 and what features it will have, the Internet has gone nuts with different ideas. We have heard so many different things such as it potentially having a dual-core processor which is particularly exciting.

A few days ago, Debbie Turner of OSM reported that the iPhone 5 may feature a larger screen, perhaps a 4” version of its retinal display. Hamad Dar of RedmondPie raises quite a good point about the prospect of a larger screen, it will struggle to fit into the current encasement and would you really want to carry around a larger iPhone?

With all this in mind, Seth Weintraub of 9to5mac has added an article with a mock up of what the iPhone 5 might look like with the current casing and a 4-inch screen, not only that but in response to the image which you can see below one of the readers added their own mock up of what it potentially could look like. The commenter (Nicholas) has added a few more images so make sure you check them out.

Firstly, what do you think of the two designs? Personally I don’t think it will look anything like either of them. Perhaps Apple will opt for a complete redesign adding in a larger screen, either way the world is expecting a new device in June so hopefully we will see one whatever it looks like! One of the reasons that they may not even increase the screen size is because the apps are designed with that in mind, it would mean all of the apps needing to redesign and update.
