Motorola Droid X 2: List Of Leaked Specs – Real or Fake?

The Mobile Web Conference for 2011 has seen many different handsets being showcased, Palm and HTC have been some of the favorites so far as well as Sony with the Ericsson Xperia Play. Something that people haven’t forgotten about of course is the Motorola Droid X 2.

We have been hearing of more details being leaked through Engadget’s article, which was written by Myriam Joire. The article is talking about it having an 8 megapixel camera, a 4.3” qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 and a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor. It is also rumored to have 1GB of RAM and said to be running on Android 2.2 however it could be upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread prior to launch.

The original article has been taken down but there’s a cached version which you can view here. A few other sources are reporting on the potential specs that have been leaked such as Android Police’s Nate Kimmey, within this article there’s speculation saying that the device could be launched as early as Q2 of this year!

We however are slightly doubtful about the leak; the device looks way to much like the original Droid X and you would have thought they would have got rid of the hump which users complain about.

Now we want to know from you, do you think the leaked details are for real or are they fake?
