Android App Store Is Booming: The Paid Apps Maturing

With Android taking the lead when it comes to market share, it’s not really any surprise to think that its store (The Android Market) is doing well is it? Of course the Apple store is still the biggest of all but remember, it is very well established.

The growth was expected but it’s also extremely important for the Google Android handsets that they reside on. According to venturebeat.com Android is catching up because its market place has matured within the last 6 months.

The number of ‘paid apps’ has risen by quite a lot, it has gone from 22% in August all the way up to 34%. These results were found by mylookout.com where they have an article titled app genome report. The continued growth is also important as the store will be wishing to ensure a constant flow of new apps from developers.
