When it comes to rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S 4G we have been trying to keep you up to date with the latest ones. The last one that we gave you was an update that the Samsung Galaxy S 4G would be hitting T-Mobile this month, Maddy Rowe of OSM went into the ins and outs of the specs so have a read.

We can now reveal that there are details being released about the release date and the pricing details. Just so that you have an idea of what you are getting for your money here’s a few specs; a 4” Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1 GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

The juicy details are that the release date is February 23rd and it will be priced at $149.99 as found through BGR. There will be a number of retailers shelling out the device; some of them include Best Buy, RadioShack, Costco and Walmart. Something to bear in mind is that pricing may vary between retailers.

You can learn more information about the device and its deals from the official T-Mobile website. Remember this isn’t the same model as the Samsung Galaxy S II as explained on PRNews by Alan Ng. He explains that there are a few differences between the two so make sure you have a read. As far I can see there are only a few little differences mainly being Android 2.1(S II) and Android 2.2(4G), 4G connectivity and a front facing camera (4G). The original source that this information came from was on Twitter you can check it out by clicking here. BGR have also included the full press release so check that out too.
