LG Optimus Deal With YouTube: Unique 3D Experience

LG has confirmed that it has struck a deal with YouTube regarding its upcoming smartphone, the Optimus 3D. LG has the honour of gracing us with the world’s first ever 3D capable phone and the link up has been described as “a unique 3D mobile experience to users”.

We simply cannot wait to get a full on look at the Optimus 3D, which is being unveiled at LG’s press conference shortly. The new deal will see Optimus users taking advantage of the YouTube 3D zone according to reports from Engadget who have also kindly supplied the image below.

The LG CEO, Dr Jong-seok Park has spoken about the massive agreement: “Our partnership with YouTube will ensure that our customers can easily generate and access ample 3D content”. Park also went on to say that the Optimus 3D was LG’s newest flagship smartphone, and that it answers the major pain points which are the use of glasses and the limited mobility of 3D devices.

Tech Radar has also reported that the phone will allow users to upload 3D videos to the site as well as play them back, totally glasses free!
