Opera Browser Set For iPad At MWC

Following it’s major success with mobile phones it seems that the opera browser system is set to make an appearance on the iPad at this year’s MWC, although this has been available for the iPhone since April we had yet to hear about a scaled up version for the iPad until now.

Even though we have news of this being shown at MWC there is still no official word of when it will be available for download, Opera announced that it’s new browser update would appear for not only the iPad and iPhone but also many other platforms that are supported. You can see the full list of platforms in this post from Mashable.com.

For those not familiar with Opera browser, it uses its servers to compress data up to 90 percent before relaying it back to your mobile platform, this very efficiently saves bandwidth which could translate really well when being used on a Tablet PC. You can see a video below of Opera running on the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

There are over 105 million users of this browser worldwide, Opera hope to improve on this with this latest release. They announced this in their press release which you can read by following this link over to Engadget.com.

With browsers assisting us in our everyday lives it’s important to find one that works really well for us, whether that is Microsoft’s IE9, Google Chrome or Opera.
