Verizon / AT&T iPhone 4: All Juiced Up With Mophie’s Help

Even before Verizon’s iPhone 4 entered the lime light, accessory manufacturers had started to sketch out plans for the devices upgrades. Protective casings are always the first port of call for anyone wanting to keep their brand new handset safe from the daily grind.

As Engadget reported, companies like Ballistic, iLuv and iKit to name just a few, have stepped up to the mark ready to shroud our devices. But now these firms will be joined by the extended power genius of Mophie’s Juice Pack Air.

Small changes had to be made to alter the pack enabling compatibility with both AT&T and Verizon‘s version of the iPhone 4.

Plus sides for using the Juice come in its 1500mAh rechargeable lithium polymer battery, which almost doubles the life of the device. This extra power doesn’t mean that you have to suffer a bulky add-on either, because with the re-engineering work done, the Juice Pack still manages to offer an ultra-thin, lightweight casing.

Obviously along with the extended battery life, the Mophie also gives the protection from knocks and scratches that any other case provides. We should see the first batch shipped by the end of the month, initially coming in black and silver detailing, with other colors due in shortly after.

Prices are said to come in at $79.95, which for all the Mophie Juice Pack Air offers seems a small price to pay. To read more check out Mophie’s home page here. Tell us if you are a Mophie follower and how do you rate your Juice Pack?
