INQ Cloud Touch: HTC Wildfire Similarities

Following all the rumors that a Facebook phone was coming which gained a lot of people’s interest, the interest was soon deflated when Facebook announced that there were no such plans for the device with their system integrated. It looks a lot like the HTC Wildfire though doesn’t it?

Enter the INQ Cloud Touch; this device has more than a bit of focus around Facebook. It comes in a few different colors and on the home screen you can see the Facebook influence. From the phone being locked you can go straight into the camera and take a picture, which is pretty cool. Once you have taken the picture you can ‘Share’ it with a number of applications including Facebook, Twitter, email or Bluetooth all from the same menu.

When you put a picture of the INQ cloud and the HTC Wildfire next to one another, you can definitely see a resemblance. The curved edges and as Engadget’s Vlad Savov says, the infusion of color are two similarities but there are a few differences between the two. The HTC Wildfire has a smaller display and resolution that the INQ device. It also doesn’t have the same Facebook influence throughout the device but they are both running on Android’s 2.2 OS.

Some of the things you can expect to see on the INQ Cloud Touch are the 3.5” HVGA capacitive touch-screen, a 5 megapixel camera and a 600MHz processor. Aside from those specs it also has 4MB of integrated storage which can be expanded to 4GB via microSD card. Head over to and have a look at the specs the HTC Wildfire possesses and then you will see a few more similarities like the camera for instance.
