HP Veer: Seamless Multitasking – Video Demo

Since the HP and Palm event everyone has been raving about the HP TouchPad and also the HP Palm Pre 3, something that we at OSM didn’t want to let slip under your radar is the HP Veer with its seamless multitasking.

This powerful little smartphone is about the size of a credit card (3.25”), it has a 2.6” touch-display running at a 320 x 400 resolution and still runs WebOS but at version 2.2. It has the snapdragon processor running at 800MHz, 8GB internal storage with 6.5GB available, a 5 megapixel camera and an easy switch on the top similar to the iPhone that puts your phone into a quiet mode.

Engadget’s author Sean Hollister has written an article on the device where there are concerns over its look reminding all of the disaster known as the Kin One. We think this looks like a sleek, nifty little device and the fact that it slides up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard is an added bonus.

Check out a video at the bottom of the article courtesy of Engadget where the HP rep blasts through some of the features on the device and there is little or no time lapse from one to another. For such a small device this is very good. If you would like to learn more about the device then head over to the Palm official website where you can read all about its technical specifications as well as the features you can expect to see.
