Sony Xperia Play vs iPhone 4 At Verizon: Official Details On Way

Despite the fact that we are still in the month of February, two of the biggest devices that will no doubt come out of this year, the iPhone 4 and Sony Xperia Play, will be joining forces with the big red Verizon. Well, certainly as we are aware by now, the iPhone 4 is, in fact with an official release date of 10 February, but what can be said for Sony’s offering?

Packed to the rafters with a fantastic specification listing, the Xperia Play (Playstation Phone) when released, is set to be a stiff contender against the likes of Verizon’s iPhone 4 along with other high-end smartphones. There has been news today that Verizon may be taking on Sony’s device of which a statement will be made official on its launch Sunday 13. As Engadget reported via Wirefly, this is really the first time that we have heard any news in relation to a carrier for the Xperia.

Although there are another 4 carriers to choose from, in our eyes, the obvious choice would be that of Verizon, lets face it, its not only the iPhone 4 that’s been taken on board, but another big smartphone on its way being that of the HTC Thunderbolt.
