Samsung Galaxy S 4G – Price Released Prematurely At Walmart

MWC 2011 is just around the corner and with that in mind the speculation of different handsets being revealed is growing. One of the devices is the new version of the current Samsung Galaxy S handset and the price of it has been leaked from Walmart.

We have already informed you of the handset coming to T-Mobile at some point in February where we enclosed some of the specs of the device such as its 1GHz Cortex A-8 Hummingbird processor and the HD recording at 720p. Now let’s have a look at the leaked image which AndroidLife have picked up.

You can see that it shows the price at $148.88 but as Kellex over at AndroidLife says, $149 on a 2 year contract sounds about right. Of course this isn’t the official price and it is subject to change so don’t take this as concrete but it seems pretty conclusive. Many other sources are reporting the news such as James Deruvo of Android Community who also goes into the battery details.

Elsewhere on the image you will see a couple of interesting options, you can get it on a 2 year Flexpay agreement for $248.88, a 2 year upgrade is $148.88 or if you want it without a service agreement get your cash ready as it will cost you $650. The $148.88 is looking good and pretty reasonable.

Do you think we will see the device at MWC 2011? Are you going to be getting the Samsung Galaxy S 4G? Let us know in the comments section below.
