Motorola Atrix 4G: First Thoughts Before Review

The upcoming Motorola Atrix 4G phone to be released on AT&T is attracting a lot of attention right now. This 4G dual-core processor phone is among the first in the new wave of dual-core processor handsets and we’ve already posted many articles including a release date in March and price, a promotional video, a look at the docking accessory and also specs.

We know that a lot of you are really looking forward to this powerful phone hitting the shelves and waiting for a full comprehensive review. Unfortunately we’ve not managed to track one down at the moment but the helpful folk over at Engadget will be publishing a review very shortly and have given some first thoughts on the Atrix 4G to keep us going for now. Joshua Topolsky tells us that Engadget have now got their hands on the device and need a few days longer before a full review (keep your eyes peeled on this page here) but he’s already calling the Atrix a “monumental device.”

Engadget’s first thoughts are that so far they are impressed with the rapid speed of the Atrix and the screen, which is labeled “gorgeous.” One slight negative though so far has been the experience with the laptop dock, which has been a little mixed but it is pointed out that some more time to get used to the device may help. So far then we’d have to say that if you’re looking forward to the arrival of the Atrix things are certainly looking promising and there’s really not too much longer to wait now.
