Want A Job At Google? Easier Interview Process Now

Have you ever dreamed about the perfect job working for a billion dollar company? Well that dream could soon become a reality as Google has announced it is going on a recruitment drive and getting a job has become easier!

The world’s biggest search engine has spoken about hiring for this year and they have said they want to recruit “well over” what they did in their biggest year. Electric Pig has reported that Google’s biggest employment fest was in back in 2007, where they signed up 6,700 new members of staff.

The change in interview process is being spearheaded by co-founder and CEO to be, Larry Page. According to FT, Page said he wanted to “revive a start-up spirit at the company”. Interviews will now be shorter and less tedious, with questions such as “why is a manhole cover round?” and, “how many ping-pong balls does it take to fill an aeroplane?” no longer being asked.

Previously Google would ask applicants to return for around 12-14 interviews before they could get the job! Now applicants will be invited to roughly 5 interviews if they want to be in with a chance of scooping the top prize. So are you going to have a go at getting a job with Google now it is easier and they are employing more of us? Leave us a comment and tell us if you will apply!
