InFocus IN146: HD & 3D Input Present

We have speculated a few times about various pico projectors featuring in different mobile devices, we are now hearing of a new InFocus projector. These projectors have made really good progress over the last few years especially in downsizing.

The new InFocus IN146 has some really cool features, it has an input for HD and for 3D, we at OSM haven’t seen any other projector with this capability (if you have, tell us in the comments). Slashgear’s Shane McGlaun is reporting on the device and he says that it has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and when it is in HD mode it can produce the image without scaling.

The projector can project up to 60-inch images from only two and a half feet from the intended projecting surface or wall. It also has a lamp that is rated for up to 6,000 hours with no need for any filters. It has two VGA inputs and a single HDMI input.

You can head over to the InFocus website to see the full specs. They also mention that the projector is compatible with Apple Mac computers and for all you gamers out there, it’s also compatible with games consoles! You can pick this guy up for $825. You can also check out a list of accessories for the projector by clicking here and then selecting ‘accessories’ from the left hand side.

What do you think of the new projector? Will you be getting one? Let us know in the comments section below.
