Google IO 2011 Tickets: Sold Out Within 1 Hour

If you were thinking about trying to get tickets for the next Google IO 2011 event, then stop thinking! The tickets are all gone; they sold out one minute short of an hour. That’s a pretty impressive amount of time to do it in.

The event is taking place in the Moscone Center in San Francisco between May 10th and 11th. We have managed to find their home page for the event which you can view here. The event is split into different sessions these include, BootCamp is one of them and it will talk a bit about lots of different things including hacking, HTML5, the Chrome Web Store and loads of other things too, you can read about them all by clicking here.

There will be technical sessions that feature all sorts of different things ranging from the introductory talk through to different technologies and products. You will also be able to ask questions to the Google engineers in a less formal friendlier environment.

There is also the Developer Sandbox, this started at the event in 2009 and is back again for the 2011 event. The Sandbox will have more than 100 developers who have played all different parts in the development of apps and the technologies of the products. There will also be after hours evening events with all sorts of activities including music, video games, music and drinks.

Over at techcrunch.com, their author Jason Kincaid is telling everyone what happened last year, where people who paid the hefty ticket price of $450 but ended up being given an Evo 4G. It makes the price a bit better value for money.
