Fujifilm Finepix X100 Official Release Date and Price

We’ve recently told you about some of the new Fujifilm cameras, two high-end cameras the FinePix HS20EXR and the FinePIx F500EXR, and also more news of the new range of Fujifilm FinePix cameras unveiled at CES 2011.

Now we have some good news for those FinePix enthusiasts among you, this time about the Fujifilm FinePix X100 digital camera, as we have official confirmation about the release and price in the U.S., courtesy of Darren Murph over on Engadget. We know many of you have been waiting to get your hands on the X100 and there won’t be too much longer to wait as the official press release shows it shipping in March.

Now to the price of, give or take a few cents, $1,200, which packs a punch but gives you a 12.3-megapixel camera with a 23mm F2 prime lens, built-in ND filter, world’s first Hybrid Viewfinder and a magnesium alloy chassis. All of that along with a standard ISO range of 200 to 6400 and capability of expanding to 12800, not to mention the fact that it’s a beautiful looking thing.

    I would to find out whether is there any trade in available? I have a finepix V10, but the lens is jammed. I really dont know whether to send for repair or trade in for another model. Please do advise. thanks!
