Android Honeycomb Event Live: Streaming, blogs & Xoom release?

We’ve already told you about the big Google Android Honeycomb Event, which is taking place later today, and earlier today told you of some of our expectations from the event. We know that many of you might well want to follow it live so can give you some details of where you can find live blogging and a stream from the event.

One of the major things we hope to hear about today is a release date for the much talked-about Motorola Xoom tablet. It has been used for demonstrating Honeycomb since we first heard about it and will be used again today for live demos so fingers crossed. Now, to the event itself, which begins at 10am PT. If you want the time for wherever you are we’ve entered the time into the fixed time calculator at timeanddate.com so you can see the converted time for wherever you are in the world.

If you’re after live streaming of the event we’ve found out through Computerworld that it will be available via youtube.com/android here. You will also be able to find live blogging from Donald Bell at Cnet here. Alternatively another live blog will take place over at IntoMobile here. There’s no news yet of a live blog from Engadget although they will be attending the event so a blog may be detailed later on.

Will you be following the coverage? We certainly will be and will be bringing you news from the event later on today. If you have any comments about what announcements you’d like to hear about, then please do send them to us.
