Bloggie Software Now Available For Apple Mac Users

Recently we have compiled reports on the new Sony Bloggie 3D camcorder which was showcased at CES 2011 but one of the issues surrounding the camcorders from Sony was their lack of compatibility with Apple’s hardware.

Well good news as Sony’s blog has informed the world that anyone who has a Sony Bloggie camcorder can now use it in conjunction with their Mac computer. You can now use your Mac computer to organize your photos if you posses a Sony Bloggie. Sukhjit of Sony’s blog says that whilst the camera has always worked with a Mac, the onboard software has been limited.

Of course many Bloggie fans who use Macs will have been informing Sony of their frustrations, perhaps this is why Sony have taken the time to introduce the software to Apple’s devices. The software currently supports the following models, MHS-TS20K, MHS-TS10 and the MHS-TS20. The blog post goes on to say that when the new models become available such as the Bloggie 3D the Mac compatible software will already be on board. Head to the bottom of the article for a video the update. The video explains how you update the software so that you can use the new compatibility. Engadget’s Vlad Savov is also reporting the news and giving a familiar Engadget approach so make sure you have a read.
