Nexus S Reboot Bug To Be Exterminated Within 2 Weeks

For all you who are getting deeply frustrated by the Nexus S reboot problem and Google are set to exterminate the bug once and for all. We previously reported on the problem a few weeks ago and we asked the question, how did a problem like this slip through the net during testing?

The reboot problems seem to be happening during phone calls, as that is what the majority of the comments over at the Google mobile help forum, have a read for yourself and see if these descriptions match your issue. There are another 200+ posts on a separate Android forum which you can also view.

According to androidpolice.com Artem Russakovskii has reported that Ry Guy who is one of the Android team who holds a high level of authority has basically said that their preliminary tests are looking good and they will most likely roll out an OTA within two weeks to resolve the issue. At least this offers some promise that the issue has been addressed and that it will now be resolved fairly promptly.

What do you think of the problem? Are you glad that Android is sorting it out? Let us know in the comments section below.
