Samsung NX11 Camera: Specs, Price and Features

Anybody who follows OSM will know that we have been taking a look back at some of the cameras that were showcased at CES 2011. The big problem that the cameras that were there had was the sheer number of tablet PCs taking the limelight. Had they not been there then perhaps some of the cameras would have got a bit more air time.

We actually brought you some information on the Samsung NX11 camera during CES 2011, we were mainly telling you that it was actually there but we did include a few specs too. Essentially it’s the same device as the NX10 but with a few added features. Let’s have a look at the specs; it has a 3” AMOLED LCD on the back, 14.6 megapixels with CMOS, a hot shoe, built in flash and electronic viewfinder and it can record videos in 720 HD format.

Now onto the i-Function lenses, according to Mark Goldstein of the PhotographyBlog, the device will come with an 18-55mm i-Function lens along 2 other new i-Function lenses. They explain about the other lenses on Goldstein’s article.

Head over to to see a comparison of the specs for the NX10 and the NX11 and see for yourself that they are very similar. You can see a few videos at the bottom of the article; the 3rd is from the previous model. As for price, you can expect to pick this up for around $649 and it will be available in February.
