Verizon iPhone Confirmed Price: Plus talk time details

We’ve been keeping you informed with all the Verizon iPhone news since it was finally announced as being released next month. In the last 2 days we’ve given you details of the pricing for the unlimited data plan, details of a $200 handset upgrade offer, and only moments ago gave the tethering price of $20 monthly for the Personal Hotspot feature.

Now we’ve heard more news and so we’ve hopped straight back on to give you this information. The price of the Verizon iPhone 4 coming on February 10 will be $199 subsidised for the 16GB version and $299 subsidized for the 32GB version, the same as on AT&T. These prices require a two-year contract. John Brownlee over on Cult of Mac brought us this news and it also seems as though there will be no white version of the Verizon iPhone on release that a lot of people had speculated on. The AT&T version has never been released in white yet.

The only color available will be black and as far as talk plans go there are three options. 450 minutes monthly will set you back $39.99, 900 minutes monthly is $59.99 (with unlimited calls to 5 people), and unlimited talk time will cost you $69.99. For data plans and tethering costs please see our previous articles linked to at the beginning of this article.

For all the gen on getting your CDMA iPhone 4 from Verizon head to the iPhone product page at the Verizon website here. What are your thoughts on this pricing? Do any of the details pleasantly surprise you, or maybe you feel otherwise? We’d be happy to hear your comments so please do send them in.

Is the $15/month data plan going to be available on Verizon too? I don't need the unlimited plan and would like to avoid paying the $30/month.
