HTC to Make Facebook Phone – More Details at MWC 2011

We all know how big Facebook is, it’s got more than 500 million users signed up to it with more than half of those users performing activities daily. Wouldn’t it be good to separate all of its functionality and be able to run it all at the same time but also be mobile?

Well it looks as HTC are ready to take on the challenge as we are hearing reports that they are plotting to start manufacturing a true Facebook orientated phone. Most smartphones these days have Facebook as an app or straight through a browser, what HTC are perhaps planning is using a Facebook branding and try to expand the features that you have on Facebook on your mobile device.

According to Kevin Krause over at, there may be a couple of Android devices created by HTC featuring a robust Facebook support. Kevin Krause goes on to say that included could be a news feed and messages home-screen widgets as well as Facebook chat and voice calling features.

Slashgear’s Chris Davies says that we could even learn more about the device at MWC2011. You can read through the original source’s article by heading over to
