Altec Lansing inMotion Air: Stellar sound quality

If you are in the market for a wireless speaker then we have found details of one that could fit the bill and has had some very positive reviews. The Altec Lansing inMotion Air wireless audio system has a release date of February in the US and will be priced at a competitive $199.95.

This speaker is Bluetooth-powered, can be used with your PC and has a 100-yard range. The apt-X sound codec technology means it won’t have that tinny resonance and gives full-rounded sound proficiency. Paul Lamkin over on Pocket-Lint reports that the Bluetooth class 1 technology lessens interference and enables tunes to be played in more than one room.

For an in-depth hands-on experience with the inMotion Air then check out an article by Charlie White over on Mashable who says he was “surprised by its stellar sound quality” but also pointed out the 100-yard wireless range claim was overly-optimistic. White praised its ease-of-use and notes that on a 5-hour charge the lithium-ion battery was fully ready for action.
