LG G-Slate: Video appearance – 3D spot?

We recently reported on an upcoming tablet device from LG, the G-Slate which will be running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and which recently became FCC approved. We thought we may not see any more about the 4G G-Slate for a while but we now hear that one has appeared in the wild.

The G-Slate made an appearance in a Korean pop video by K-Pop’s Seungri, reports Vlad Savov over on Engadget, sourced from YouTube. Seungri’s band, Big Bang, has had connections with LG and its devices before so it’s not the greatest surprise that the band has access to a G-Slate.

If you check out the video below this story you can see an LG tablet appear at 0.53 and then again at 1.52 and from the brief spots of it Engadget has managed to glimpse some sort of dual-camera, pointing to a 3D device. Meanwhile an article over on Electronista also speculates on the G-Slate being a 3D device so if you want to find out more then check it out at the link.

The next time we can expect to see the G-Slate is at Mobile World Congress 2011 next month but then again we thought that before. What are your thoughts on the G-Slate so far? Why not let us know with your comments.
