We have been looking a little bit more closely at the iOS 4.3 beta 2 that has been released to developers as have many others. We have already reported on some addition functionality for the iPad, possible media streaming for the iPhone 5 and some possible camera effects that will be added.
Something we hadn’t seen until now is being reported by Slashgear and Engadget. Its on a video that has been spotted on YouTube that shows some of the potential of the iOS 4.3 update. Of course, you can expect the same or similar functionality on the Apple iPad as is shown in the video at the bottom of the article.
As Engadget’s Tim Stevens says, the screenshots they received from BGR (where Jonathan S. Geller has also written an article) are interesting. They show a setting that has the appearance of ‘Multitasking Gestures’, which is demonstrated in the video at the bottom of the article.
The video also shows the changeable lock/mute and rotational settings. Does this mean that Apple is indeed moving away from having the physical home button on the device as the recent rumors would suggest? Would you be happy to have a full touch button-less device?
What do you think of the multi-touch and multi-tasking capabilities shown in the video? Are you impressed? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.
