MacBook Air: News on latest software update 2.0

Here at OSM we like to keep our readers informed on the latest Apple products such as the MacBook Air. Recent posts include a look at the Samsung Series 9 vs. the MacBook Air and at look at the MacBook Air 2010 vs. Windows 7 equivalents.

I’m recently a complete convert to the MacBook Air and nothing would prise me away from it now and there’s good news today for other MacBook Air devotees as the latest software update for later MacBook Air’s is available. Eric Slivka over on MacRumors brings us the news on Software Update 2.0.

It’s not a huge update but will address sleep issues on some MacBook Air’s, which apparently prevented the device from sleeping on both the 11-inch and 13-inch models that came out in last October. You’ll need Mac OS X 10.6.5 or later to update. David W. Martin over on Cult of Mac reports that this latest update is not yet showing on Software Update but is available to download from this link.
