Dell Streak 7: Release Date Revealed

So far there has been a lot of hype about the Apple iPad 2, especially with all the speculation surrounding the cases that are being seen. Whilst all that has been going on, Dell are quietly carrying on and preparing their Dell Streak 7 for its official launch.

The Dell Streak 7 was showcased at CES 2011; you may be wondering what is different about this tablet PC. Well, it’s got something that most tablets don’t have, it’s got something new, up-to-date and its going to be one of the most important features of all tablet PC’s success this year, it has the ability to run on T-Mobile’s 4G network.

The device received an official announcement that it would be running on T-Mobile’s 4G network which was great news. OSM’s Debbie Turner reported on the Dell Streak 7 and also posted a hands on video. Debbie also added a list of specs that are expected on the Dell machine. Some of them include the 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, it has16GB of internal memory and a 7” multi-touch screen. It is currently running on the Android 2.2 OS, but of course, with Android’s frequent updates, this could change any time.

The news has come from where the author David, Managing Director has written an article. They have also included an image that they say shows the release date to be February 2nd however it is pretty difficult to see.
