Nintendo 3DS: Jonathan Ross Speaks Out On Twitter

Here at OSM we have brought you various reports on the forthcoming 3DS from Nintendo. We have talked about a stolen and stripped down model of the device, rumors of release dates, an advisory for children that had been issued relating to possible effects on their eyesight and so on. Today the news is of TV and radio presenter Jonathan Ross who has taken to Twitter to talk to fans about Nintendo’s new offering.

Twitter alone is growing in popularity by the day, and for Ross, followers to his blog are now in the region of some 825k+. As mcvuk.com reported, using this to his advantage, the presenter took to the site to inform fans of an invitation that he has accepted, to visit Amsterdam at a Nintendo event on Wednesday, to announce none other than more information surrounding the console.

He tweeted to fans, “Been invited by Nintendo to host a conference next week that gives out info on the 3DS. Tried it yesterday! What I can say about 3DS is that the 3D is far better than I would have thought possible without glasses. Can be switched to regular 2D. Think it’s because the screen is small that it can be done effectively without need for glasses. I only had unfinished prototype. But a couple of very cool new features.”

As computerandvideogames.com reported, the event at Amsterdam should bring us a little closer in not only finding out more specifications but a release date and possible pricing.
