AT&T iPhone 3GS $49: Apple Follow With Matching Price

If you are looking for a new smartphone but are not willing to pay extortionate amounts of money to get one, then today’s news may be just the answer. From last Friday 7 January, AT&T ranked the second largest telecommunications company in America, were retailing Apple’s iPhone 3GS at a ridiculous price of $49 with a two-year contract. To not miss out on the fun, Apple too have announced the same offering.

Dependant on your own personal choice, the iPhone 3GS has some fantastic qualities to speak of. Announced back in June 2009, the device has come a long way. It incorporates 8GB of storage space, a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen, lightweight in design weighing in at just 4.8 ounces, 3 megapixel camera, video recording and the benefit of video and photo geotagging, WiFi and so on.

Tech giants Apple are now offering the 3GS at a 49% reduction in-store and online at any one of their outlets, and as BGR reported this applies to just new and not refurbished devices. The only downside if there is one, is that the handset is only available in Black. If after digesting this you feel this is the deal for you, then click here to access more information and in 24 hours time, you could have the new device shipped out to you.
