Samsung Central Station: What do you think?

This year’s CES event has seen many different devices. Some of them are extremely useful; others are the niceties of life, such as the abundance of tablet PCs featured at the 2011 event. We have also seen a number of cameras and one that particularly caught our eye was the JVC Everio GS-TD1.

Now we have seen something that looks pretty cool from Samsung, they are calling it the Central Station. The device looks to solve the problem of constant trailing wires by having a central point that they all plug into. Once you are setup with your keyboard, mouse, monitor and other devices bring your laptop with the wireless dongle plugged into it. Once you are within about 3 feet of the station and you will be able to make use of the separate monitor and other peripherals plugged into the unit. This will free you from the small display of your laptop and give you not only the mobility of the laptop but also the bigger working space of desktop.

There are a lot of different sources reporting the news about the innovative device, so be sure to check out cybetheater.com and businesswire.com for further technical details as well as opinions from their writers.
