Notion Ink Adam: Preview experience plus video

We’ve previously given you some information about the much-anticipated Notion Ink Adam tablet device such as pre-order and price details and also a video demo with the Eden UI, but now we’re very excited as CES 2011 has provided a hands-on experience.

An in-depth hands-on preview by Joanna Stern over on Engadget provides us with much more detail about this enigmatic device and it’s good to see that after handling the Adam, Engadget seem to be hugely impressed. There’s also a video of the hands-on so head to the Engadget link to check that out. There appear to be some very positive aspects about the hardware of the 10-inch PixelQI Android tablet and the 1024 x 600 resolution transflective screen also receives praise.

The Eden UI was thought to be mildly puzzling though of course that would improve after more use and the performance was said to be smooth mainly because of the dual-core Tegra 2 CPU. Engadget conclude by saying the Adam is a totally different experience to other Android tablets and one of the most impressive out there.

Notion Ink has also released a promo video for the Adam tablet which you can see below this story. You can also find out more on the Notion Ink website here. What are your thoughts on the Adam now we’ve seen a bit more of it? We’d be interested to hear from you so why not send us your comments on this.
