CES 2011: Razer Switchblade Running WoW – The Device To Beat?

It looks like Razer just ‘upped the ante’ at CES 2011. Razer is the worlds leading brand for high end precision gaming; now it’s just gone mobile! The device that has been showcased at CES 2011 is a concept design but it doesn’t stop us from having our fingers crossed for this bad boy to go to production.

The Razer Switchblade is basically a 7” dual-screen miniature laptop, both screens are multi-touch displays but the bottom screen has what’s called, tactile keys. The design is based around the Intel Atom processor and between them and Razer, they are looking to redesign the way that PC gaming is done.

One of the big problems that will have been experienced is the fact that PC gaming is based around a keyboard and mouse, this machine isn’t. Have a peek at the video at the bottom of our article for a full explanation of the device.

What do you think of this little gaming device? If they were to ever go to production, would you buy one? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Not good for primary gaming device since the screen is very small…. but very good for outdoor gaming
