Samsung Infuse 4G: Super AMOLED Plus 4.5-inch display

News from CES 2011 continues to flood in and here at OSM we’re doing our best to keep you informed. Just some of the posts we’ve brought you today include ones about what to expect from LG at CES, the Fujifilm range of Finepix cameras and news about an impressive looking slimline phone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.

Now we have news for you of a new handset with a mammoth screen size of 4.5-inches, the Samsung Infuse 4G coming to AT&T. Ginny Miles over on PC World reports on this and notes the screen uses Super AMOLED Plus technology that gives high visibility and vivid colors. It will run on Android 2.2 and have a 1.2GHz processor along with an 8-megapixel camera for HD video recording and also a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera.

There are not yet details of pricing or availability but meanwhile Sindre Lia over on InfoSync also reports on the Samsung Infuse 4G along with some detail on more 4G Android phones due to arrive on AT&T, such as the Motorola ATRIX 4G and the HTC Inspire 4G. Lia reports though that the phone will be available in the second quarter of 2011.
