Beluga Messenger: Cross Device Free Messaging

One advantage that BlackBerry users have had over users on a different OS is the BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), which allowed you to communicate with your friends without charge. It’s similar to texting but in more of a chat style. For a long time smartphone users were envious of the BBM, but times are changing. Companies are thinking outside the box to unite all smartphones under one umbrella.

Now we have Beluga Messenger, this application will do the same as BBM except it’s installation can happen on multiple platforms. For example, you can download Beluga onto an iPhone and an Android based unit, once the installs are complete, you can chat to each other for free! Perhaps it’s partly because of apps like this that the BlackBerry’s market share has dropped so much.

Beluga seems like a pretty good product, its simple to use and will help you stay in touch with your friends and family that are perhaps living far away. The photo sharing is easy to use, you just select a photo from your phone and send it straight into the conversation.
