Nintendo 3DS leaked photos and video reveal

We’ve been bringing you plenty of news about the much-anticipated Nintendo 3DS gaming system including a Nintendo event for January 19, an advisory about kids eyesight and most recently an ad on the GameGears website revealing a price and release date for the U.K at least of March 18.

Now we have more news from Tim Stevens over on Engadget, sourced from TGBUS.com which contains leaked photos and a video of the Nintendo 3DS device that many people will surely want to see. It tells how 3DSBuzz reports the theft of one of the gadgets from a factory in China and how the Internet is now smothered with leaked photos of it.

Engadget notes some slight differences from the device shown way back in September with the buttons for Select, Start and Home now being made flush in the screen bezel. One of the photos reveals its size compared to other devices showing it’s smaller than a standard DSi and we also learn it has 96MB of RAM and a 1300mAh battery. You can also see a video of the 3DS below this story although it’s strictly in a non-functioning condition.

Adam Riley over on Cubed 3 also notes the headphone port is in a central position instead of to the side as in previous models and also points out that at the top of the device you can see the charge port docking position, 3DS card slot and an InfraRed port.
