CES 2011 will be here in a few days and we are hearing reports of new devices and tablet PCs every day, now we are reporting on a new machine from Lenovo. When it comes to value for money, you aren’t going to do much better than this. The new Lenovo ThinkPad x120e is the latest addition to the range and it looks like it’s the best by far.

The target audience we think this will be aimed at is mainly students, but another audience it may appeal to is one where people that are always on the move. For example, sales reps, from experience we at OSM know that at least one of the large Pharmaceutical companies use the Lenovo laptops because of their mobility, reliability and practicality. This model would be a welcomed addition, especially with its extended battery life of 6.5 hours.

According to Engadget.com’s Joanna Stern, the device will come with a choice of processors, both are Zacate but you can have either the E-240 or the E-350; these processors include AMD’s Radeon HD 6310 graphics on the same chip.

The machine will be available in from February for $399, which is a great price. One of Engadget’s readers described this as “Powerful enough to pwn some noobs in CS:S in between study sessions, is what I’m looking forward to. I haven’t purchased a new laptop because of the lack of any decent graphics at a low cost. This is very exciting to me!”
