CES 2011 Maps and Floor Plans

If you’re remotely interested in technology you cannot fail to have noticed the buzz surrounding the Consumer Electronics Show which begins this week on Thursday January 6 to Sunday January 9. The International CES 2011 is looking extremely promising and we’ve already posted many articles on what we might expect to see including just recently, alternatives to the iPad tablet device, a Toshiba preview for CES 2011 and details of a Lenovo ThinkPad.

If you’re planning to visit the event in Las Vegas you’ll no doubt have your own specific area of interest and you might want to check out in advance where you should be heading so you don’t miss a thing. If you want details of the Show Floor go to this page on the official CES website where you’ll be able to search by Product Category, CES TechZones and see Floor Plans.

Alternatively to look at the different Exhibit Halls head here where you can find maps showing where you’ll find what you’re interested in, at the LVCC Central Hall, Grand Lobby, North Hall and South Hall, along with the CES Central Plaza and more. If you check out all this information before the show starts it could save you a lot of time.

A great article to read that will give you a good idea of what CES is all about is by John D. Sutter over on CNN which tells how overwhelming the show is with over 20,000 products anticipated to be introduced over the 4 days and showcases that cover 1.6 million square feet of floorspace and notes how it’s physically impossible to see everything so if you’re heading to Las Vegas you’d sure do well to take some comfortable shoes!

Are you going to CES 2011 and if so what are you most looking forward to seeing? We’d be interested to know so please do send in those comments.
