New Netbook: Gigabyte Q2005 – Specs & Details

2011 is possibly going to be the year of the tablet but of course, things can change, especially when there are new Netbooks being released. There has been another one recently. This is from Gigabyte and it‘s model number is Q2005.

Let’s bring you some of the specs for the device. It has a 10.1” display with a 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N550 processor at 1.50GHz, you have a choice of 1GB or 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a choice of hard drives ranging from 250GB to 500GB, WiFi, Bluetooth and it will run on the Windows 7 OS.

Jamie Pert over at PR News has said that he was unimpressed at the fact there is no SIM card slot, and therefore no 3G connectivity. Thats a decent point to make seeing as so many devices like this are having 3G connectivity.

Right now we are unaware of pricing but as soon as we know we will report the update. Head over to Gigabyte’s official site by clicking here, they have listed the full specs for you.

What do you think of this device? It will be interesting to find out the cost. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
