Sprint: Palm Pixi 2 – Front-Facing Camera Spotted

Sprint are going to have to explain to a lot of people about the Palm Pixi picture that has been posted on their website. The device has been snapped with a front-facing camera, which the current model doesn’t have. Historically there have been Palm showcased devices at CES so perhaps there will be another.

The fact that this mysterious device has made its way onto the web, means that either someone has either accidentally uploaded the incorrect picture or has been playing with Photoshop. According to Slashgear’s Chris Davies the rest of the pictures from Sprint show the device as normal.

Could this be a leaked photo intended for CES 2011? We are already aware that Palm will be releasing a new range of handsets in the forthcoming year, although we haven’t heard any details as yet, so it’s possible.

With CES and MWC quickly approaching, we are sure you can’t wait to see the mass of electrical goods being announced. What do you think of the picture? Do you think that it has been altered or do you think this is an intended leak? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
