Android’s New Music App Leaked-Coming With Honeycomb?

A leaked video showing Android’s new music app has surfaced, with a bright and colourful interface being displayed. The 50 second video surfaced a few days back with the default music app looking similar to Apple’s iPod layout.

Engadget has kindly provided us with the leaked video, which we have embedded below for your viewing pleasure. Also pay them a visit if you want to see a video on the new feature which involves the music on your PC being streamed and sent directly to your Android device.

The video was first spotted on XDA Developers and runs through a brief demonstration of what the default music player has to offer. Mashable believes that the new app will be launched with Google’s latest 3.0 OS, Honeycomb which is predicted to make its debut in March.

The successor to Gingerbread is expected to bring a graphical and usability update to the OS which is greatly needed if Google are going to keep up with the design of the Apple’s iPhone UI. The leaked music app is likely a preview of what we can expect from the new OS and from what we have seen so far it looks to be a big improvement.
