US Cellular Selling Galaxy Tab At $200

On the 16 December we brought you news about network T-Mobile, and their announcement to discount the Samsung Galaxy Tablet price. In fact they reduced it right down to $350 on a two-year contract along with the Samsung Vibrant smartphone retailing now at $149.99. Today US Cellular have announced that they are offering the 7-inch tablet at $199.99 on a two year data plan, only 2 days as Android Police.com reported that the carrier announced all phones would be free until 24 December.

As Engadget reported, although this newest price is not to be sniffed at, it does come with a minor drawback. You will have to purchase the higher 5GB monthly plan, therefore the figure you will be paying every month will set you back $54.99 with a pay-as-you-go messaging service or for another $20 per month you can opt for an unlimited message plan service.

If the thought of picking one of these up for a pretty fantastic price is not enough to sway you, then maybe the specifications will? Running on Android 2.2 (Froyo), you can also expect to find a 1.3 front-facing and 3 rear-facing megapixel camera, 4,000 mAh battery as well as 30 pin dock connector allowing for HDMI, USB and docking accessories.

Even though there is one stipulation on purchasing the Galaxy Tab, would you still be tempted to buy yours from US Cellular?
