Dell Streak Price Cut: Big discount at Best Buy

For those of you interested in the Dell Streak, we’ve already posted articles about a review roundup, the White Dell Streak becoming available at Best Buy, and an update for its Android 2.2 OS which gives the Dell Stage interface but the best news of all is coming next, about a big price cut.

Currently Best Buy is selling this smartphone/tablet device on AT&T for only $99.99 with the usual two-year contract, according to Vlad Savov over on Engadget, sourced from Best Buy. The regular price is $499.99 so that really is a great saving and you’ll be kicking yourself if you made a recent purchase, but this may come just in time for some of you who want to put it on a Christmas wish list.

If you’ve been trying to make up your mind if the Dell Streak is a good investment, Best Buy customers have given the black model a 4.7 out of 5 rating. The offer is available for both the black and the white versions so if you’ve been hanging on for a White iPhone 4, now may be the time to give up on it! Specs include a 5-inch display, rear-facing 5-megapixel camera, front-facing VGA camera, GPS and 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but you can read full details at the Dell Streak product page here at dell.com.

This seems like a pretty good deal to us. Could you be tempted to buy the Dell Streak at this price or maybe you’ve seen a better offer on either this or another mobile device? Why not send us your comments to let us know.

AT&T’s service has become so bad that it does not matter how good the deal is on the phone.
