Nexus S Retails At Best Buy: Limited 2 Per Person

News of Google’s Samsung Nexus S mobile phone has been coming in thick and fast for the last few weeks, and today the highly anticipated phone will be available from Best Buy stores on Thursday. But unlike other releases, the retail store has stipulated that the handsets will on a first come first served basis and numbers will be limited.

The guys over at Engadget have reported that consumers will only be allowed up to two Nexus S devices. If you are desperate to get your hands on one of these bad boys, then be aware, stores will be open at 8 am local time with the benefit of seeing one in the flesh for demo purposes, or if you prefer to stay in the warm and order your handset from the comfort of your own home, then from 8 am ET, you will be able to purchase one online.

Samsung’s latest offering is truly offering some pretty fantastic features including the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the first smartphone to get any benefit from this, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, outstanding contoured display, NFC chip, WiFi, GPS, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of memory and so on. Ubergizmo.com have stated that if you are looking to purchase one of these but on a contract basis, then you will be looking at $199 on a two-year T-Mobile plan or a stand alone price of $529.
