Five Of The Best At CES: January 2011

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is just a few weeks away, and for the tech world, this is one of the highest profile events. Big developers get to show off some of their up and coming innovations to the rest of the world. From 6-9 January 2011, the show, taking place in Las Vegas, will see tech giants Microsoft, HP, Dell, Logitech and so on.

Over at Pocket-Lint, they have reported on five devices, three of which we wanted to bring to you, that they say will be the centre of attention. The first is that of Microsoft and the reveal of tablet PC’s running Windows 7. CEO Steve Ballmer will no doubt be taking to the stage and as MacRumors reported will be showcasing these delights, two of which have been reported to be Dell and Samsung devices. Another possible candidate to be on the look out for is the Pocketbook colour ebook reader complete with Qualcomm’s Mirasol colour screen.

MSI on the other hand will no doubt be enthralling us with their own products. Over at Ubergizmo, it was reported that as well as notebooks with new additions being featured, a new gaming laptop may be seen, which goes by the name of the “MSI GT680” said to be the “most powerful laptop,” incorporating up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, quad-core Intel CPU, Nvidia graphics and so on. The final two to get your technical juices flowing come in the form of LG’s premium 3D glasses and lastly the OLPC tablet.
