iPhone 4 iPig Docking Station Includes Motion Sensor

On the run up to Christmas everyone is looking for that extra special something for either a loved one or friend. For those looking to purchase an additional extra, for their chosen persons Apple device, iPig could be the gift that fits the bill.

Now while there has been all sorts of unusual shaped speaker systems for Apple’s iPod or iPhone, Tim over at PR News reported that the Speakal iPig docking station looks like a pig wearing sun glasses.

However funny the system looks there is no jokes when it comes to spec. Speakal claim that this is the first IR Sensor Controlled iPod Docking System available on the market. With sensors installed around the iPig, standard operational functions like play, pause, forwards, backwards and volume levels can be activated.

As with most docks the Speakal unit can charge all iPods with dock compatibility, it packs a 15W sub-woofer and bass reflex system for those deep tones and has a remote control. There is also the option of battery power making the iPig portable.
