Samsung Galaxy Tab Buyers Get Free Bundle

With Christmas almost within reach, I’m sure that there are a lot of you out there that will be expecting to wake up Christmas morning with a brand new tablet stuffed into their stockings. Well if your lucky enough to receive such a parcel on the festive morn you could be in for a bit more of a treat.

Samsung have decided that any Galaxy Tab bought on the run up to Christmas will be accompanied by a free entertainment bundle worth £200.

As part of the package Pocket-lint confirms you will receive 50 MP3’s from eMusic a selection of 15 films from Samsung Movies and 7 games from Gameloft. There will also be 5 ebooks from WHSmith’s best-seller range.

Managing director of Mobile, Samsung UK and Ireland, Simon Stanford commented on the give-away saying: “We’ve used our strategic partnerships with leading brands to put together an entertainment package that will let people enjoy the Galaxy Tab straight away. We’re committed to offering the best entertainment experience as well as the best value and we wanted to give our customers even more to enjoy when they open a Galaxy Tab this Christmas.”

Although for some the thought of splashing out around £400 on one present may be hard to swallow, there is no doubt that with an extra £200 of free extras it could make it easier to take.

Hexus.net commented that whilst Apple’s iPad is still the tablet of choice for a lot of people, a large majority would be swayed by a cheaper option. Now while Samsung have made no plans to drop their price, a free package sweetener could boost their sales.

In order to claim your free package just enter the unique code found in the box at www.samsung.com/uk/galaxytab

What waits to be seen is if Apple will follow with a similar offer on their iPad this close to Christmas? Tell us if you could be converted from the iPad to the Galaxy Tab with a £200 free gift?

Samsung have now convinced me with this offer. Undecided between the iPad and SGT, this sweet deal will allow me to enjoy new music, new games, some reading and plenty of films over the feastive period for the same price I was going to pay earlier in the week. I'm off to get mine in the morning. SIM free I think that way I can upgrade to a data plan if needed or pop in one of the SIM's around the house to use their data plans.
