Dell Inspiron Duo: Copycat Design By “Shenzhen”

Here at OSM we have reported on a few occasions about Dell’s latest offering, the “Inspiron Duo,” which doubles up as a tablet come notebook device. With the emphasis on Dell shipping out the new model, it seems that someone else has taken their idea and decided to run with it. We are talking about company “Shenzhen.”

Using a quick flip up of the lid, the Dell tablet transforms into a notebook incorporating QWERTY keyboard, dual-core Atom N550 processor, 2GB RAM and a Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator for graphics as well as Windows 7 Home Premium.

Although details are still a little sketchy, Sean Hollister over at Engadget has reported on Shenzhen’s PC as a basic stripped down version containing Atom N450 processor with 1GB RAM.

At this present stage, a release date with confirmed price has not been announced so we will have to wait for that time.

Tell us how much difference in price you would accept in order to purchase a basic device with the same styling? To find out more head on over to Engadget.
